The Vian Touchdown Club has announced they will be holding their annual dinner, pie auction and silent auction on Monday, Oct. 1 at the Vian High School (VHS) cafetorium.
This year’s dinner menu will be grilled southwest chicken, which will be served by the VHS football team members. Cost is $5 per person and those age 5 and under can eat free. The dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. followed by a pie auction and silent auction.
This year’s auctioneer for the event will be Bud Smithson. The VHS cheerleaders will be assisting and a slide show will also be shown to attendees.
Brooke Simon of the Vian Touchdown Club said the group is trying to get a count on donations, so if you plan on donating homemade pies, cakes, cookies or any other types of desserts, contact Simon at 918-773-2121. Simon said they are expecting between 50 and 60 desserts for the pie auction.
