Dear Editor,
Blessed! You don’t know what it means until you have received love unconditionally and then you know you were just blessed. That is what happened at the 3rd Annual Gore Community Back 2 School Bash. The event was a true blessing for the Gore school. The turnout was wonderful, the weather fantastic, and smiles were everywhere you looked.
The school was represented by several organizations, clubs, athletes, coaches, staff, and teachers meeting and having fellowship with the community. Business, churches, and community leaders brought games, food, fun, and supplies to help students and teachers offset the cost of going back to school this year. And the people, the people of Gore brought their kindness, their generosity, and their support to make the Bash just simply amazing! We could not have asked for more.
Thank you is sometimes not enough, but it is coming from the hearts of those who were blessed to receive the love and generosity of a community where children matter, teachers supported, and school appreciated. Thank you to all who came out, sent supplies, provided food, baked goodies, raised money, and prayed for all involved with Gore Public Schools. Can’t wait to see what next year’s Bash brings for our school and community.
