The town of Vian has built their second regulated basketball court (far right) in the downtown Anna Bell Farmer Park, this time a regulated half-court for children ages 10 and under. Vian Town Administrator Keith Boshers said the new court is being constructed thanks to a donation from Cherokee Nation, who also provided funding for the first basketball court. Boshers said the second court would provide a place for children to play on so the bigger kids can use the full court. He said more work and improvements would continue this week on the court, sidewalk and leveling the area.
