The new Tex-Mex restaurant Rustic Cantina, which is scheduled to open in March, is already expanding their parking lot and making more room for progress. Owner Jason Carter said he purchased the adjoining lots behind the building, which will make way for parking and other outdoor events, such as cornhole tournaments once the business is open. The Rustic Cantina will feature a 3,100 sq. ft. building with C/H/A and a 320 sq. ft. patio with the capability of seating 100 or more diners. “There is almost 600 sq. ft. heated/cooled with a an 8x10 ft. glass garage door to the 320 sq. ft. covered patio,” Carter said. “There will be private Cantina parking in the back and an entrance to the restaurant. I wanted to provide our customers with more seating options and more parking.” AMIE REMER
