Natayla Flores, senior, was crowned as SHS Miss Native America during special ceremonies last Saturday at Sallisaw High School. Flores was crowned by Cherokee Nation Dist. 5 Councilman E.O. Smith, Jr., right, and escorted by her father, Clyde Brown, on her right.
