The first Vian Farmers Market of 2021 was a huge success according to organizer, Kialey Wainwright. Wainwright said she had a dozen vendors sign up for the first market despite the cold morning, selling a variety of crafts, clothing and other homemade goods. “Hopefully we will have more next time,” Wainwright said. “We’re also going to change the time from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the downtown Anna Bell Farmer Park, and charge a $10 fee per vendor for each event starting with the next market on Saturday, April 3.” Wainwright said she wishes to thank all the vendors and people that came out to show their support. Anyone interested in signing up for the Farmers Market can reach out on the Vian Farmers Market Facebook or Instagram page, or call Wainwright at 918-360-4385. She said vendors must still contact her if they wish to attend.
