CCR/SART Gazebo lighting held

The annual Sexual Assault Awareness Gazebo Lighting and Glow Stick Walk was held last Wednesday night in front of the Sequoyah County Courthouse with members of the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Victims Crime Unit, CCR/SART teams in attendance. Cindy Smith, investigator for the sheriff’s office, said several turned out for the event in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. “We will never stop bringing awareness to the problems and victims of sexual assault,” Smith said.
