Miss Oklahoma Addison Price visited with the Sallisaw Lions Club last Tuesday before making a stop at Sallisaw Public Schools. She currently attends Oklahoma State University and will graduate in December with a degree in marketing. Most recently she has been a part of the Oklahoma Tourism initiative, “Imagine” helping to rebrand Oklahoma and share the many reasons to visit the state. Her social impact initiative, “Empowering Individuals with Learning Difference through Self-Advocacy,” is near and dear to her heart. In elementary school she was diagnosed with Dyslexia and understands the struggles many differently-abled students face. Price looks forward to using this year to raise awareness of the broad spectrum the word disability covers. She is the only Miss Oklahoma to serve for two years (due to COVID-19). She was third runner-up in the Miss America pageant.
