One transported

A Vian man was transported to a nearby hospital for injuries he sustained in an accident on Tuesday afternoon, just north of Vian on US-SH 82, near Garden of Memories Cemetery. Vian Police Chief Daniel New said EMS transported Donald Williams by ambulance after his truck left the roadway and landed in a deep ravine. A second truck, driven by Carrie Johnson of Vian, also left the roadway landing on the opposite side of the highway. Johnson was reportedly uninjured and Williams’ condition was unknown as of press time. AMIE CATO-REMER
