Accident happens on US-SH 64
No serious injuries were reported following an accident Thursday afternoon on US-SH 64, just outside Vian town limits in front of Boss Hawg Towing. According to authorities, Eula Green, 56, of Sallisaw, was traveling eastbound on US-SH 64 when she collided with a Hog Creek tow truck, causing the hood to break lose from the front of the truck. Green’s car then left the roadway to the left, reportedly knocking down several mailboxes before coming to a rest in a ditch. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Haney worked the accident with assistance from Pafford EMS, and Vian Police and Fire Department.
