Close to a dozen semi accidents were reported on Interstate-40 near Vian (297 mile marker) following the winter weather that moved into the area last week, bringing freezing rain, snow and ice. Emergency personnel on the east side of Sequoyah County reported about eight accidents occurred within a little over two hours due to icy roads and bridges.
