Three people were transported Sunday afternoon following a collision on US-64 and 4570 Road, about four miles west of Sallisaw, according to an accident report issued by Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

Trooper Jordan Galvan #311 of the Sequoyah County detachment of Troop C reported Ryan Sandmeyer, 38, of Vian, was traveling southbound on 4570 Road in a 2008 Honda Accord when he allegedly failed to yield at the stop sign and was struck on the passenger side by a 2017 Dodge Charger driven by Leslie Clark, 53, of Sallisaw, who was traveling east on US-64.
Sandmeyer was transported by Life Flight to Saint Francis in Tulsa where he was admitted in critical condition with head injuries.
Clark was transported by Pafford EMS to Baptist Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., where she was admitted in guarded condition with trunk internal injuries.
Her passenger, Christopher Clark, 53, of Sallisaw, was transported by First Flight to Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark. where he was admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
Galvan was assisted at the scene by members of the McKee Fire Department, Sequoyah County Sheriff ’s Office, Pafford EMS, Life Flight and First Flight.
