Vian Band of Gold receives Superior rating

Vianâs Band of Gold had nine members that chose to go to the solo contest at Locust Grove on March 25. Every Vian student received a 1, which is a Superior Rating in the contest, the highest available score. Contestants included (front, from left) Breydon Miller on clarinet, Elizabeth Fuller on clarinet, Isaac Valentine on baritone, and Alyssa Lee on alto saxophone. Back row, Isaiah Drew on trombone, Adam Miller on clarinet, Brooklyn Herod on clarinet, Anna Farar on trumpet, and Christina Chester on the tenor saxophone.
