Gore Public Works Authority customers will be allowed to dispose of undesirable items with some exceptions during a spring cleanup day on Saturday, May 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Drop off will be in large containers placed at the gravel parking lot west of the Steve Owens Sports Complex baseball fields. This is on Steve Owens Road, which adjoins East 3rd Street and meets US64 on the east side of Gore.

You will need to present a current GPWA water/ trash bill, and a picture ID may be requested.

Items not accepted include hazardous materials, construction debris, tires, brush/tree limbs, liquids, paint, or appliances containing Freon, unless the compressor is removed. Batteries will also be accepted.
