You Can Have What You Say

You Can Have What You Say
By Pastor Kenneth Byrd Round Mountain Community Church,

What’s in your heart will eventually come out of your mouth, Matthew 12:34. That’s why the bible says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life,” Proverbs 4:23.

What you say locates you. To show you what I mean let’s look at the account of the woman with the issue of blood in Mark, chapter 5.

Mark 5:25-34 says: And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years. And had suffered many thing of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse.

When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind and touched His garment. For she said, if I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole.

And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus immediately knowing in Himself that virtue had gone out of Him, turned him about in the press, and said, who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, thou seest the multitude thronging thee and sayest thou who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

But the women fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before Him and told Him all the truth.

And He said unto her, daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole, go in peace and be whole of thy plague.

Notice verse 28 says: For she said if I may touch but His clothes, I shall be whole.

What the woman said located her. And that’s why she received her petition from Jesus, because her faith had located her.

Jesus said unto her daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole.

So, let’s look at another verse that illustrates the connection between saying and receiving from God.

Mark 11:23: For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.

You can have what you say. The bible says about the woman with the issue of blood, (for she said) and she received exactly what she said.

What you say is your faith speaking, Jesus told her that her faith made her whole.

Another proof that you can have what you say is found in Numbers 13, where we see Israel came up to the promise land and Moses sent out the 12 spies to spy out the land.

The bible says 10 of them brought back an evil report and two brought back a good report.

What was the evil report? A report of doubt. Even though God had given them the land 10 of the spies said they wouldn’t take the land because of the giants.

Two of the spies brought back a report of faith, they said we can take it.

All Israel believed the report of doubt. People say the majority can’t be wrong but that’s not a bible truth.

If you just go with what many believers say, you will be walking in doubt.

When Israel accepted the majority report, they were also saying they wouldn’t take the land. Remember, you can have what you say.

They got exactly what they said, they said they couldn’t and they didn’t.

Even when you doubt, you’re believing something. But you’re believing the wrong thing.

You always receive and have in your life exactly what you believe for and what you say.
