Oklahoma City – Funeral services for Donnie Reed, 93, of Oklahoma City, were at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Reed was born on Oct. 8, 1929, in Sallisaw to Edna Louie (Burton) Cheek and Dollen Reed. He died on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in Oklahoma City.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired contractor and landlord, and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are two daughters, Donna Keenan and Ramona Reed, both of Oklahoma City; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Reed and Dr. Ben Cheek, both of Sallisaw; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Erick Wilkinson; mother; two sisters, Peggy Whitener and Addie Griffin; and two brothers, Bob Reed and Burton Cheek.
