Muskogee – Graveside services for Theresa Renea (Mowdy) Bush, 55, of Muskogee, were at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023, at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on Aug. 28, 1967, in Stilwell to Dyhana (Petree) Mowdy and Donald Lee Mowdy. She died on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in Tulsa.
She was married to Mark Bush on May 18, 1990, in Fort Smith.
Mrs. Bush was a retired American and World History teacher for Fort Gibson Public Schools.
Survivors are her husband, Mark of the home; two daughters, Brittany McMullen of Gore and Brooklyn Fulton and Robert of Eufaula; one son, Mark Bryar Bush and Zoe of Tulsa; two grandsons; three sisters, Sandy Pritchett of Dora, Shelli Barnes of Sallisaw and Dawna Mefford of Sallisaw; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Daniel Mowdy.
