Humble, Tex. – Funeral services for Debra Kay Thomason Wright, 70, of Humble, Texas, were at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Wright was born March 1, 1953, in Oklahoma City to Wesley and Mary Margaret “Marjorie” (Duffield) Thomason. She died on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, in Houston, Texas.
She grew up some in Sallisaw and was a 1971 graduate of McLoud High School. She traveled the world sharing many adventures with her friends and family. She was always open to new experiences as long as she didn’t get her hair wet and there was an ice cream cone at the end of the journey.
She was married to Micheal “Mickey” N. Wright, in 1975, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
She is survived by her husband, Mickey, and daughters Jennifer, Donelle, Kimberly, and Laura.
