Vian – Funeral services for Steven Paul DeTello, 46, of Vian, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will follow at Redbird Smith Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. DeTello was born Sept. 24, 1976, in Great Bend, Kan., to Debbie (Rolston) Cato and Paul DeTello, Jr. He died on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in Vian.
He was a truck driver for JRT Trucking in Sallisaw. Survivors are a daughter, Sadie Killo and fiancé Bryson Elbon of Vian; one son, Thomas Paul De-Tello of Vian; two step-children, Allie Annesley and Haydin Annesley; two grandchildren; his fiancé, Tisa Annesley of the home; mother, Debbie Cato and George of Vian; father, Paul DeTello, Jr. and Jessica of Maryland; two brothers, Daniel DeTello of Pennsylvania and Nick DeTello of Maryland; two sisters, Rachael Cato of Vian and Jessica DeTello of Maryland; grandmother, June Rolston of Sallisaw; and grandfather, Paul DeTello, Sr. of Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carey DeTello; two brothers, Joseph DeTello and Matthew Davison; grandfather, C.E. Rolston; and grandmother, Zoe Pat DeTello.
Viewing will be noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2023, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
