Sallisaw – Funeral services for Charley Floyd Cheater, 67, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial was at Flute Springs Cemetery in Marble City under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Cheater was born on Dec. 6, 1955, in Tahlequah to Charley Rogers and Donnie Cheater. He died on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in Sallisaw.

He worked as a general laborer. Survivors include one sister, Lucille Buster of Marble City; one brother, Thomas Cheater of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sallie Buzzard; and one brother, George Cheater.
