Sallisaw – Funeral services for Bob Philpot, 82, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mr. Philpot was born on May 18, 1941, in Sallisaw to Nellie Pauline (Crawford) Philpot and Elzie Drannen Philpot. He died on Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Sallisaw.

He was married to Robbie Foster. She preceded him in death on Jan. 16, 2023.

He was a truck driver for over 40 years. He loved car shows and was involved in the Old Sallisaw High School Park and Event Center.

Survivors are four sons, Jim Philpot and Kristy of Greenwood, Ark., Bobby Philpot of Sallisaw, R.D. Smith and Cindy of Athens, Texas and Brent Philpot and Tawnya of Little Rock, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Philpot, R.D. Smith, Heath Philpot, Tanner Philpot, Brent Philpot, Cody Smith and Bobby Philpot.
