Bunch – Funeral services for Sharon Kay (Carroll) Lopez, 76, of Bunch, were at 1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory- Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial was at Bunch Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lopez was born on July 26, 1946, in Paris, Ark., to Billy Bevins Carroll and Violet Marie (Scroggins) Carroll. She died on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was a retired restaurant owner of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara and David Dodson of Cushing; one son, Bobby Ray of Poteau; two sisters, Judy Holderfield and Sue Akers, both of Wister; three brothers, Johnny Carroll and Leonard Carroll, both of Poteau, and Larry Carroll of Van Buren, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; companion, Mack Brewer; daughter, Lavanna (Ray) Elmore; son, James “Duncan” Ray Jr.; two brothers, Cecil Carroll and Billy Carroll; and two sisters, Dorothy Thompson and Donna Timms.
