DA presents forfeiture checks to Sheriff

District Attorney Jack Thorp (LEFT) presents Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane Jr. over $396,000 in cash forfeiture checks. The checks stemmed from several drug-related cases that the Sheriff’s Office has worked recently. These funds are used by the Sheriff to purchase vehicles and equipment, and to pay for further training for deputies.
