Memorial services for Joan Carole Owensby Fiedler, 54, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory of Maurice, La.
Mrs. Fiedler was born on Sept. 15, 1968, in Sallisaw to Mona Gail Owensby and Alfred Mc-Murry. She died on Sunday, Aug. 6, 2023, in Erath, La.
She would take in stray or injured animals. She enjoyed cooking big meals and adored her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Rodney Duty of Fort Smith, Ark., Tamara Woodward and David of Tahlequah and Kathrynn Duty of Roland; siblings, Kathy Walker of Lincoln, Ark., and Lisa Strang Sonnier and Patrick “Pops” of Erath; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
