Vian police reported just before 11 p.m. on Sunday night that a semi took out a transmission line power pole at Short Stop #2, across from St. John Football Stadium.

Vian Town Administrator Keith Boshers contacted OG&E and workers were on the scene to secure it just after midnight.

Some Vian residents were without power for a short amount of time while the repairs were being made, with the pole crew coming from Shawnee, according to reports.
