Sallisaw – Graveside services for Patricia R. Carlile, 83, of Sallisaw, were held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023 at Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Carlile was born on April 23, 1940, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Mary (Sagely) Raney and John Walter Raney. She died on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023 in Fort Gibson. She was married to John Stephen Carlile on Aug. 25, 1962, in Stilwell. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1998.
Survivors are two daughters, Jean A. Witty and husband Brad of Cypress, Texas, and Nila Garrison of Muskogee; one son, John S. Carlile, III and Kevin Leinbach of McKenzie Bridge, Ore.; several grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Susan Risley of Tahlequah; and numerous other relatives and loved ones.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary K. DeJuliis; sister, Ann Day; and brother, Bill Raney.
