Mark 7:24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid. rjn m As Jesus entered the house he had

Michael Martin jiacj just finked confrontation with Pharisees and Scribes that had come all the way from Jerusalem.
Baptist They had not come to learn, but to Church criticize Jesus, his work and his disciples for perceived offenses against their well studied religion. They had studied the Words so long that they replaced GOD with the Words of God.
John 4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” Jesus spoke these words to indicate that God was more interested in worship instead of ceremony.
Out text tells us of several things. 1. It Was Impossible to Conceal Christ Now let that soak into your thoughts. In this passage, Jesus wanted to remain hidden for a short while. He came in without a crowd. There were no thousands following him. He wanted to refresh his mind and his body before he continued the conflict with the Satan guided religionists of his time.
2. Jesus in the Flesh But Jesus could not be hidden. Someone saw him and someone told someone and before you know it a woman with a daughter with an unclean spirit came to him. What followed was a wonderful story of this Gentile woman pleading for her daughter before a Jewish Messiah. The story of the crumbs is famous throughout the Christian world. The Bible tells us that any time Jesus was called upon to a great work, that virtue was taken from him to accomplish it. He told this woman that the virtue he had was for the Children of God not the dogs (Gentiles). Mark 7:26-29 Yet she persisted for her daughter was at stake. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the childrens bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the childrens crumbs. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.
3. Jesus in the World – Jesus cannot be hidden in the World today either. His disciples had ver specific instructions. Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” He also old believers to let their light shine. Matthew 5:13-16 “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
4. Jesus in the Heart – Now we come to a question to answer for each who profess to be saved. Can you hide Jesus in your heart, but not profess Him to others? If Jesus is in your heart others should be able to see that. I was at the Veterans Hospital in Muskogee a few years ago and I was waiting in line at the pharmacy for a prescription to be filled. Several old veterans sat around me and we talked about a variety of different things. All of them had a decided opinion about how the government should be run. As I shared my opinion on some of the topics and man looked at me with a smile and said, “You must be a preacher!” My words had revealed the Jesus in my heart.
5. And what is the point and moral of this story? Jesus cannot be hidden. He could be hidden while He was in the flesh and lived on this earth. His Words cannot be hidden from the world around us. It is His command to teach others about salvation. His presence in our life cannot be hidden from others. If we have Jesus, He will show through in our actions and in our speech as we live in this world.
Now the question is this: Do you have Jesus living in your heart? Are you saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, our Saviour? If you are, praise God! And if you are, the Jesus of your salvation cannot be hidden. Here is the proof text for you life…do others see Jesus in you? Since He cannot be hidden, He will shine through. You will not be able to hide Him. If you are effectively hiding Him, are you sure He is your Saviour? Are you sure you received Him into your heart? Many today claim to be Christians but in their works they deny him. Titus 1:16 “They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.”
