The Gore Lady Pirates opened last week with a road three-way in Arkoma in which they split their two games.
The Lady Pirates routed Watts 14-0 but lost a 10-9 heartbreaker to the host Lady Mustangs.
In the win over Watts, the Lady Pirates scored all 14 runs in the first inning to put the game into run-rule status. The game ended in three innings.
Gore only had three hits, a single by Natalie Casteel, a double by River Shoemake and a triple by Cadi Shoemake.
In the loss to Arkoma, the Lady Mustangs broke a 9-all tie with a walk-off win in the fifth inning.
In defeat, Kynley Webb was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored, Kennedy Williams was 2-for-3 with a run scored and Casteel doubled with an RBI.
