Muskogee – Graveside services for Mary Ann Reeder Johnson, 78, of Muskogee, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2023, at McCoy Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born on Aug. 18, 1845, in San Angelo, Texas, to Cecil Steward and Watie Bell (Lord) Stewart. She died on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, in Springfield, Mo.
She worked with special needs elementary students for 32 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking. After retirement, she continued working with children through Sunday School and the church daycare.
She married Charles Johnson on Feb. 14, 2021. Survivors include her husband, Charles Johnson; one son, Ben Reeder and Randi Staples of Springfield; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, William Little.
