Make a blanket for a child in foster care on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

The church is inviting the community to come and join them in making fleece tie blankets for children in foster care. Bring a pair of scissors if you can. A luncheon will be served.

The church is located at 805 S. Cedar in Sallisaw.
