The Fast and the Furriest 5K: Join the Cherokee Nation Wings Program for this 5K race beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Three Rivers Health Center in Muskogee. The race is free to members of the Wings Program, but is also open to non-members for a fee. There will also be a 1K fun run beginning at 8 a.m. Shirts will be handed out after the race while supplies last. Cherokee Nation Elder Summit: Northern Region will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Will Rogers Downs Event Center, 20900 S. 4200 Road, in Claremore, Okla. Stop by for a free lunch, door prizes, traditional storytelling and more! There will also be a resource fair for elders to connect with various Cherokee Nation departments.
