EDMOND — Gore Lady Pirates senior cross country senior Hallie Kinion ended her career with two of the three things she wanted.
Kinion finished ninth at Saturday’s Class 2A State Meet, which took place at Edmond Santa Fe High School, with a time of 12:46.62. By finishing the two-mile race in the top 10, she earned herself All-State status as well as earning a medal.
The one goal that eluded Kinion was the Class 2A State Meet individual champion, which went to Laverne’s Kamryn Baggs — who ran the two-mile course in 11:56.49.
The other local runner in Saturday’s state meet was Central freshman Alyvia Warner, who finished 63rd (14:18.66).
