Brushy School students, Grady Taylor, Ryder Justice and Cephas Vang, recently won first place in the “You Can Build It” competition. The winning team used Sparks Corner store and built a complete replica of it, gas pumps and ice house included. The students and their teacher, Carla Scavo, are shown presenting the store manager, Jennifer Duty, with the model store they built. The students said they chose the business because “they help the community by providing fuel, snacks and good cheeseburgers!”
