With ‘Stars and Stripes’ patriotic theme

The Vian Lions Club 45th annual Christmas Parade of Lights will honor local veterans as their Grand Marshals during the parade on Thursday, Dec. 7.

This year’s patriotic theme, “Stars and Stripes” was chosen in honor of Pearl Harbor.

Parade line-up will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Vian Baptist Church with judging following at 5:45 p.m. The parade is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

Parade forms can be picked up at Town Hall. There will be two prize categories this year: Grand Prize float will be awarded $100, and Honorable Mention, $50.
