After a 10-12 season in the 2022-23 campaign, the Webbers Falls Warriors are looking to have a winning record this season.
The Warriors return three starters from a season ago — senior guard Stryker Chappell (15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds a game last season), senior forward Maddux Shelby (5.2, 5.9) and junior guard Luke Pierce (4.5, 2.3).
The rest of the roster has seniors Dylan Young, Denver Morgan, Blake Rowe, Preston Rowe and Caleb Dishpan, junior Elliott Kunzel and sophomore Eli Hefflin.
Second-year coach Jim Glover is hoping having been in the system for a year will pay dividends in his second year as coach.
“Being in the second year of a new system should make us better than last year,” Glover said.
Glover said his team’s strength will be its overall size and depth, but the big concern is how potent offensively will the Warriors be in 2023-24.
