Gore – Jimmy Claude Carter, 87, of Gore, died on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, in Sallisaw. He was born on March 12, 1936, in Gore to Albert E. Carter and Callie (Thomas) Carter.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

He was a jeweler and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include several family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers and one sister.
