Several Gore Pirates Youth Wrestling members got to compete in their own tournament, the Gore Rumble on the River Tournament, which took place Dec. 30 at Gore Event Center.
Most members participated in round-robin style events.
Beau Moore went 2-0 in the novice age 12-and-younger division after coming up short in three matches in the open age 12-andyounger division.
Isabella Mannon was 3-2 in the novice age 8-and-younger division but lost all three of her matches in the open age 8-and-younger division. Jace Gates and Jayden Gates went 2-0 in the open age 12-and-younger division, while Jaxton McGowan went 1-1 in the novice age 12-andyounger division.
Creede Brown went 1-1, while Crawford Sloan fell in both his matches in the age 4-and-younger division.
Treydan Daugherty was 1-2 on the day in the Novice age 15-andyounger division.
Logan Willoughby in the novice age 8-andyounger division and Devon Mannon in the open age 15-andyounger division each lost both their matches, while Carter Brown participated in the event but did not place.
