INOLA — Several Vian high school and junior high wrestlers placed in last weekend’s Inola Tournament.

In the high school division, Carissa Prock, Gunner Richey and Tristan Wiley were runners-up, while Garritt Hunt and Avery Richey were fifth.

In the junior high division, Charles Lucas placed first, Maddison Turman, Gavin Cornelius and Jace Huff were second, Dredyn Harrison and Kalvin Andrade were third, Axl Branham and Carter Madsen were fourth, Thomas Drew was sixth and Carlos Rautenburg was seventh.

The Vian Wolverines high school wrestlers were slated to participate Tuesday in the Class 3A District Duals at Tulsa Cascia Hall High School. The team with the best dual record will qualify for the Class 3A Dual State Tournament on Feb. 10 at a site yet to be determined.
