Funeral service for Dale Wayne Johnson, 63, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Johnson was born on July 10, 1960, in Watertown, N.Y., to Gwendolyn Joyce (Charlton) Johnson and Carl Nathaniel Dale Johnson. He died on Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was married to Tonya Maxwell on July 21, 2014, in Waldron, Ark.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Nestle and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Veterans Motorcycle Club and the founding member of the Abbott Chapter.
Survivors are wife, Tonya of the home; two daughters, Shae Winfree and Bryan of Fort Smith and Jessie Whitworth and Ricky of Sallisaw; nine grandchildren; his mother, of Fort Smith; two brothers, Todd Johnson and Renee of Hackett, Ark., and Lonnie Johnson and Vickie of Greenwood, Ark.; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Carl W. Johnson.
Pallbearers were Todd Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, Mark Maxwell, Jim Maxwell, David Drake, Dan Pearson, Kevin Leard and Leon Stidham.
Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Whitworth and Bryan Winfree.
