Funeral services for Shirley Mae Leaf, 67, of the Sycamore community, was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Burial followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on May 20, 1956 in Tahlequah, to Nellie (Buster) Annesley and Alfa Sayre. She died on Feb. 1, 2024 in Vian.
She was married to Bill Brockman Leaf. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Leaf was a nursing assistant who loved helping people. She also loved to go to yard sales.
Survivors are one daughter, Michelle Leaf and Rodney Finney of Vian; two sons, Brian Leaf and Krista Taylor, and Jeff Leaf, all of the Sycamore community; four grandchildren, Tanisha Leaf, Tyron Leaf, Rachael Finney and Johnathan Finney; mother, of Vian; three brothers, Alfred Annesley, and James “Shorty” Annesley and Rhonda, all of Vian, and Henry Annesley and Ann of Sallisaw; special friend, Larry Horn of Vian; lifelong friend Gloria Callie; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her father; one sister, Mary Lou Bailey; and two brothers, Sonny Sayre and William Sayre.
Pallbearers were Joe Everett, Craig Manns, Michael Craighead, Tom Gilbreath, Jason Callie and Roger Collins.
