FORT SCOTT, Kan. — Former Vian Lady Wolverine softball player Greenlee Wells and her Eastern Oklahoma State College teammates split Saturday afternoon’s doubleheader against Fort Scott Com-munity College as the Lady Mountaineers took the nightcap 22-11 after losing the opener 5-3.
In the nightcap, Wells went 5-for-6 with five runs batted in and scored twice as she hit two home runs and doubled once.
In the opener, Wells doubled in four at-bats with an RBI.
The Lady Mountaineers (4-2) were slated to face Labette Community College in a home Tuesday twinbill at Wilburton before playing Tyler Junior College at 11 a.m. and San Jacinto College-South at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Grayson Round-Robin Tournament in Denison, Texas.
