Gore Emergency Management has scheduled a second FEMA CERT Basic class for anyone in the community that is interested in attending.
The four-day class is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, March 22 and 23 and March 29 and 30, at Gore City Hall. The Friday classes will be from 6 to 10 p.m. and the Saturday classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Whether you’re interested in just being better prepared for you and your family or would like to be a part of the team that will step up and serve the community in the event of a natural disaster and/or emergency, this class is for you.
The class is open to everyone in our community, from students to our senior citizens. Everyone has a part that they can play to serve the community.
