Northeastern State University welcomes KT Sullivan to perform – Feb. 22

Northeastern State University’s Sequoyah Institute will feature American cabaret and musical theater artist KT Sullivan on Feb. 22.

Sullivan, an Oklahoma native, attended the University of Oklahoma and went on to study opera in Italy and California before Broadway ultimately led her in a different musical direction. Today, her performances blend cabaret style with Broadway flair, creating powerful shows for audiences all over the world each year.

Sullivan stars annually at The Pheasantry in London and has been showcased at Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Spoleto Festival, Chichester Festival, CLUB RaYe in Paris and Adelaide Festival in Australia. She was also twice named one of the Top 100 Irish Americans by Irish America Magazine.

Sullivan will perform as part of the 2023-2024 Sequoyah Institute Performing Arts Series. The series aims to foster cultural enrichment beyond the classroom and promotes the experience and understanding of the fine arts through the presentation of national and international performing artists to our students and the community.

The performance will be held at the NSU Playhouse at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 22. Admission is free for NSU students and $20 for adults, $18 for seniors, $16 for NSU alumni and employees and $12 for youth.
