Memorial Service for Ray Tayloe, 77, of Vian, Okla. will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Okla.
He was born on December 10, 1946, in Grand Island, Neb. to Lena Lila (Goode) Harris and Raymond Edward Tayloe, Sr. and passed away on February 16, 2024, in Vian.
He was married to Francis Kay (Burris) Tayloe on July 31, 1969 in Tulsa, Okla. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2019.
Mr. Tayloe was a styrofoam factory worker, rock worker and drove commercial trucks. He loved working in the yard, working on cars and going to the casino.
Survivors are one daughter, Beverly Lee Ann and William Armistead of Vian; one son, Charles Henry Tayloe and Angela of Warrensburg, Mo.; one daughter-in-law, Sheila Edens; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Bill Harris and Caryl of Tulsa; one aunt, Sarah Powell; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one son; Raymond Edward Tayloe, III; and one brother, Bob Harris.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Chew, Anthony Chew, Kenneth Armistead, Bryce Tayloe, Reese Tayloe, Ian Tayloe, Kenny Cowan, Michael Cowan, Robbie Cowan, Ryley Nutt and Jose Ventura.
