Three Gore Pirates Youth Wrestling members placed at the 2024 Oklahoma Kids Wrestling Association (OKWA) Regional Tournament, which took place Feb. 10 in Checotah, and qualified for last weekend’s state tournament at Oklahoma City’s Jim Norick State Fair Arena. From left, Devon Mannon was third at 155 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division, Jaydan Gates was runner-up at 140 in the 12-and-younger division and Jace Gates was fourth at 110 in the 12-andyounger division.
