Webbers Falls and Gore resident injured
A head on collision that reportedly occurred on March 11, three miles east of Keefeton, sent two local women to an area hospital for treatment.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Warlick X498 of the Muskogee Turnpike reported Autumn Mason, 27, of Webbers Falls, was driving a 2013 Dodge Avenger westbound on E. 133rd St. when she departed the roadway to the right. Mason’s vehicle then reentered the roadway, crossed the center line and struck a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe headon, driven by Allison Thomas, 33, of Gore.
According to the accident report, Mason was transported by Muskogee EMS to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa where she was admitted in critical condition with head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries.
Thomas was transported by Muskogee County EMS to Saint Francis Hospital in Muskogee where she was treated and released with trunk internal and arm injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation as of press time.
Trooper Warlick was assisted by Lt. Wyatt C114, Trooper Alvarez C210, Trooper Ritze C800, Trooper Rochell C964 of Troop C, members of the Muskogee County Sheriff ’s Office, Buckhorn Volunteer Fire Department and Muskogee County EMS.
