Gibbins did not play in the first two games, but did have a pinch-hit appearance in Friday’s nightcap as she was hit by a pitch.
The Golden Suns (20-15 overall, 12-11 in Great American Conference play) were slated to return to action Tuesday with a road game against Harding University in Searcy, Ark., before playing a road conference series against East Central University in Ada where there will be a 3 p.m. Friday single game and a noon Saturday doubleheader. Then, to begin next week, the Golden Suns will play a 3 p.m. Tuesday home doubleheader against Rogers State College at Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex.
