Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth Gene Simeroth, 80, of Gore, was held at 10 a.m. Thursday April 4, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Muskogee.
Burial followed at Fort Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
Mr. Simeroth was born on Sept. 19, 1943, in Porum, to AJ “Trusty” and Laura Isabel “Belle” (Snow) Simeroth. He died on Friday, March 29, 2024, in Muskogee.
He attended Porum High School and furthered his education at Connors State College and Northeastern State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later pursued a career at Sequoyah Fuels. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Webbers Falls, and enjoyed fishing, attending auctions and supporting Gore High School football and basketball.
Survivors are his daughters, Nicole Kuhns (Kyle) and Carmen Gray (Robert); son, Kyle; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl and Jim Simeroth; sister, Frances Marrel; brotherin- law, George Adkins; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 50 years, Susette (Adkins) Simeroth; his parent; brothers, Raymond, John, Leonard, Joe Perry and Clyde; and sisters, Evelyn, Helen and Louise.
