Floyd “Stan” Standridge, Jr., 81, Salina, Kan., died on Friday, April 5, 2024. He was born on Sept. 19, 1942, in Sallisaw, to Floyd Sr. and Voyce Irene (Brewer) Standridge.
Mr. Standridge held two Masters Degrees and was proud to be an educator for 44 years. He spent most of his extensive career as a guidance counselor at Salina South High School. He was a devout Christian having served his home church, Salina First Church of the Nazarene, in countless ways.
Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Sharon; daughter, Jennifer Segal (Peter) of Cumberland, Maine; son, Brian (Bridgette) Standridge of Salina; three grandchildren; sister, Dorthea (Bob) Baker, of Barnsdall; as well as many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
