Gore JH track athletes do well at Checotah Wildcat JH Track Classic

CHECOTAH — Several Gore junior high track athletes placed in the top 10 at the Checotah Wildcat Junior High Track Classic, which took place April 16 at Ogle Field.

Weston Cunningham won the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 17.5 seconds, while being runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles (46.6, personal best).

Alecia Reasoner was runner-up in the discus (67-4, a personal best), while Cole Brooksher was second in the 100-meter dash (12.34 seconds, a personal best) and the long jump (17-5).

Trenton Cunningham was sixth in the 800-meter run (2:28, a personal best) and the 300-meter hurdles (48.4).

The eighth-grade boys’ 1,600-meter relay team was fourth (4:07).
